AVENTs patented design prevents the swallowing of air and reduces the risk of colic The Airflex™ feeding Bottle has a built-in Airflex valve that works with your baby’s natural feeding rhythm to promote problem free feeding.  Baby naturally controls the milk flow through his or her normal suckling action, more like breast feeding, which can helps baby to prevent him from being overwheled. The special Avent teat promotes better 'latch-on' and makes it easier to combine breast and bottle feeding. Avent's clinical trials have proven the Airflex system to reduce colic: A clinical study demonstrated that at two weeks of age, babies fed with the AVENT Bottle experienced less colic than babies fed with a conventional bottle.
Just like a regular bottle the Airflex is easy to assemble and can be steam sterilised.
